RICE-raffia storage baskets and storage houses are some of the very first products created at RICE – and we are still huge fans.

All Raffia products are handmade from a fantastic natural material – therefore, no two baskets are ever quite the same, and this is important to know before purchasing. Raffia fibres come from palm leaves and originate from Madagascar – where the entire story of RICE began.

The products are made with heart – they are produced in two villages in Madagascar’s mountains, where production contributes to better and more resources for the inhabitants of the towns.
