The compartmentalised tray insert ensures that all conditions are in place to create a healthy distribution and a varied packed lunch. The insert tray / Yumbox Tray is purchased as an additional accessory for Panino lunch boxes from Yumbox, as it can be practical to have an extra tray to replace the other one with while it is being washed.
PLEASE NOTE regarding use – Panino/Original
Although Yumbox Panino and Yumbox Original are the same size, the insert trays cannot be swapped between them, as the grooves in the lid are not positioned uniformly on the two models. If trays are switched between the two models, the silicone in the lid will be distorted. As a result, the lunch box may lose its ability to remain leakproof, even with the correct insert tray. If trays are swapped anyway, the right to make a complaint is void.

The tray is dishwasher-safe. However, the lunch box itself, into which it is inserted, is not.
